A cat who lives in your room reminds you of trash days and chores.
I'm not getting notifications.
Open Settings on your iPhone, go to Notifications, and make sure notifications are allowed for Trash Day Cat. If you use a Focus, notifications may be paused while it's on. Reminders are scheduled about two months ahead, so they can run out if you don't open the app for a long time. You'll get a heads-up the night before they run out — just open the app once when you see it.
How do I change pickup days or reminder times?
Use the “Trash Days” and “Chores” buttons below the To-Do list on the home screen. Reminder times are in Settings (top right) under “Reminder Times”.
I tapped “Took it out” by mistake.
Tap “Undo” on that row in the To-Do list. The stars you got will be returned too.
My pickup day is different on holidays.
The app doesn't know about holiday schedule changes. Please check your local collection schedule. If you're skipping a pickup, choose “Skip this time”.
How do I add a widget?
Open “Add a Widget” in the app's Settings for steps for the Home Screen and Lock Screen.
My coats and furniture disappeared after switching iPhones.
Tap “Restore Purchases” in Settings (top right) to bring back anything bought with the same Apple Account. Schedules and records are stored only on your device, so they don't carry over to a new one.
